We recommend first creating a basic installation on your chosen server, and then creating and testing your client installations. Download files. Then go to the AMPL software download site and log in to your personalized download page by following the instructions that we have previously emailed to you. If you have not logged in before or forgot your password, click on Login and then click on the password reset link. Download the needed files as follows:.

Set up the server. If they do not include "optimal solution" then the solver run may have been unsuccessful; maybe you did not choose a solver such as "ilogcp" than can handle "alldiff" constraints, or maybe the problem size was too big for the solver. When the solver is unsuccessful, it may leave all of the variables at their default values of 0, and so the optimal value will appear to be 0.
